So we got this letter in the mail...
from the State Department, and what did it say? Ummm, that they received our documents. They cashed our check, so that was mighty obvious, but I guess it's a step in the right direction. We got all excited about a fingerprinting date, but that must be the next item they will send us, right?

Well at least they received them! I have found the adoption phone number quite helpful--always a live person who seems to know what they're doing. I have a feeling if you called it they will tell you your fingerprint appointment is about to be scheduled, which is very exciting! Hang in there!
